Three years ago Derek Osborn, an experienced international postal expert, teamed up with Dr. Kristian J. Sund, an academic and strategy scholar, to bring a new dimension to the debate on the future of the postal industry. The collaboration resulted in the book series the future is in the post. The first volume on strategies in the industry was published in 2010 and launched at the 2010 PostExpo in Copenhagen. Then in September 2011 came their second book on transformation in the sector the future is in the post: volume 2, launched at PostExpo in Stuttgart. The third book in the series, on innovation, will be launched PostExpo in Brussels, in September 2012. To obtain copies, click on the books.
"I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who is serious about the opportunities and challenges we all face, as there are ideas to be found here, lessons that can be learnt and stimulating questions to think about." Tony Robinson, Managing Director of UKIP Media and Events
“The book is an excellent snapshot of the postal industry – a thorough summary. I especially like the set of questions raised after each chapter to generate further elaboration on the topics.” Botond Szebeny, Secretary General of Posteurop.
“As we innovate in the core and explore new business ventures, the perspectives that this book gathers enhance our efforts to learn collectively.” Luis Jimenez, Founder, Strategy Dialogues
